Further developments
- I have now completed the bar code on my cover. By removing the white background of the barcode it adds to the magazine making it more aesthetically pleasing and professional.
- I have now added the edition number, the price and the date onto my cover. These final touches on my product make the magazine appear final, with this style staying constant throughout other magazines in the genre, the use of the only white lettering helps for these to standout from the other tonal blue.
- I have aligned the words to their individual side, making them appear more aesthetically pleasing,
-I have added an 'Easter egg' to find within the magazine, as readers can win a signed Pemi Johnson Dartford jersey. This would appeal to the reader as it would entice them to buy the magazine with the chance of winning a signed jersey- this appeals to the contextual reader as they would be young people who are most involved and typically care the most about sports figures and the prestige that a signed jersey would provide.
